Mehrauli Archaeological Park, Delhi

Mehrauli Archaeological Park is situated in Delhi and comprises some historical structures like Tomb of Balban, Quli Khan’s tomb, Jamali Kamali Mosque and Tomb, Rajon Ki Bauli and others.

 Archaeological Park is located close to Qutub Minar

 World Heritage site and occupies a total area measuring 200 acres.

It comprises of more than 100 monuments which boast of historical significance. The premises of Mehrauli Archaeological Park also possess the ruins of Lal Kot which was created by the Tomar Rajputs in 1060 CE.

Mehrauli Archeological Park also consists of the Tomb of BalbanTomb and Mosque of Maulana Jamali Kamali or Jamali Kamboh which was constructed around 1526 to 1535

CE, Madhi Masjid and a stepwell, Gandhak Ki Baoli, Quli Khan's Tomb and Rajon Ki Baoli.

The Tomb of Ghiyas-ud din Balban is based in the region of Mehrauli in New Delhi. It was constructed in ca 1287 CE and it reflects Indo-Islamic architecture.

Rajon Ki Baoli or 'Rajon ki Bain' is a stepwell which is located near Adham Khan's Tomb in Mehrauli Archaeological Park.

Also known as 'Dilkhusha', the tomb of Mohammed Quli Khan, who was the brother of Adham Khan is a significant historical monument which is situated inside the grounds of Mehrauli Archaeological Park.
